18 people from Client Care Experts were eventually indicted by the state of Illinois with several already sentenced to prison. TOTAL SCAM from top to bottom. It's too bad their home state of Florida wouldn't do anything about it but FL Attorney General Pam Bondi is even more corrupt than this clown show. The best part is that everyone convicted was ordered to pay back the people they made "sales" to. Anywhere from 50k to 200k. These jerks love that movie Boiler Room. Guess they forgot how it ended. more info: https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdil/client-care-experts-llc-first-choice-tech-support I don't really understand what makes people think they can get away with this. Oh yeah, actually I do -- they want to be rich but aren't smart enough to make money legally. Subway is always hiring too...

Scammed

the salesperson identified himself with Client Care Experts, a division of Microsoft. I pressed him, "this is part of Microsoft, you work for Microsoft, etc. ?" He assured me he was. I bought the $550 tech support program/package. I felt funny about this, call Discover and asked them to cancel the transaction pending whether this "organization" was legitimately part of Microsoft. Discover reversed the charges. I called Microsoft. They said they had no affiliation whatsoever with Client Care Experts, saying whatever I purchased was not a Microsoft product/service. I did get my $$ credited as I stated. This was over 1.5 yrs. ago. Client Care Experts continues to harass me. I never used their services. Three calls left last Friday afternoon. It's Monday, they have already called once.

Scam

As recently as Monday March 20th I received a call from 561-429-**** who claim they are Client Care Experts. They want to preform a tune up on my computer as part of the service agreement. I expressed concerns that they are calling me during business hours (when I am working) and I would call them when it was convenient with access to my computer. On the same day, another company (701-484-**** from North Dakota) called stating Client Care is out of business and they would take care of assisting me with computer service agreement at no charge. This seemed weird to me, so I declined. I've since blocked this number and have received 9 blocked calls. Do not accept any calls from either number. Do not allow them to access your computer. Do not accept any offers from them. Do not provide them with any banking information DON'T BE FOOLED.

How to secure your Windows/Mac machine.

First off let me just say that I've worked at some of these companies. I'm here to explain to you how to secure your Windows machine. First things first, STOP USING INTERNET EXPLORER AND EDGE!! They are the gateway to every malware infection known to man on a Windows machine. It does not matter if you're using the latest and great from Microsoft, Microsoft is not in the business of creating secure software, they create an industry that creates jobs for thousands upon millions of people. If you need a browser stick to Chrome or Opera. Do not use Firefox it is also insecure. The two things you will need on your browser is a adblocker, preferably uBlock it uses less memory in the browser that Adblockplus. Also add Stop-it.be to your browser, the Stop-it plugin will stop any malicious pages from even loading because it does a comparison of the domain name to a block list if the site is on the blocklist then it will not load, (ie. those fake error message popups you get when you're browsing the web). Secondly, get rid of your McAfee and Norton subscriptions, both of those companies create software that is complete bloatware and it creates more problems than solutions. If you want an anti-virus that is reputable stick with F-Secure, Bitdefender or Kaspersky. Webroot is also ok as well. I would also recommend installing and purchasing Malwarebytes and have that running on the machine as well. My next suggestion would be to prevent ransomware purchase AppGuard it received 2 awards from Homeland Security for malware prevention and infection (http://www.appguardus.com). My next advise would be to be extremely careful when installing software you download off the internet, most of the software you download also installs toolbars and other malicious software (trojans, adware..ect..) onto your machine while it is installing the legitimate software you intended to install. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT THE SETUP IS ASKING FROM YOU DON'T JUST CLICK ON NEXT!!. Periodically close all your applications on the machine once or twice a week and run Ccleaner both the cleaner portion and the registry portion as well. I would also run ADWcleaner on the machine every other week, this will get rid of any adware or toolbars that may have gotten installed (Adware Removal Tool is good too). Backups, buy yourself a backup drive and take the time to create a reliable backup, drives now are extremely cheap you should have no excuse to not have a backup. If you do any banking online, I would suggest looking into installing a program called VirtualBox which allows you to install a secondary operating system (Linux -preferably Ubuntu) if you have the time look up Tails, you can also go to Youtube.com and search for how to set a virtual machine up using Tails. Once you've done that you can then load up a browser using that virtual machine (operating system) and then do your banking. This creates a gap between your host operating system in this case Windows and your banking operating systems in this case the Linux VM. This prevents any leaks in data along with any type of malware or trojans from pilfering your banking information. On another note, consider learning and taking the time to use encryption whenever possibly, if you are browsing the web and you notice that a website does not have a little lock next to where the website domain name is on the browser then you know that the site does not have a certificate and has not been verified by a third party to being secure, in this case they are not using encryption meaning that your data will be sent over clear text -WHICH IS BAD!! (Please visit the EFF.org to learn more). If you are smart you will join Bleepingcomputer.com's newsletter which will keep you informed of the latest changes that arise with in the malware detection community along with providing you with an endless amount of information regards technical details on how to handle certain circumstances on your machine. Next up, the Windows firewall, make sure it is always enabled. A side note for updates, Windows Updates if you're on Windows 7 should be set to automatic. If you're worried about the forced Windows 10 upgrades then I would suggest using GWX Control Panel so that you can disable that easily (http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/). For you Mac users it's real simple. STOP USING SAFARI FOR YOUR BROWSING!! Again download Chrome or Opera and use those browsers instead and again install uBlock and the Stop-it.be plugin. If you have to use Firefox, but for gods sake don't use Safari. Apple has taken a backseat to Safari in regards to code changes . Hence the reason they've come out with a technology preview of Safari, meaning that they have start to overhaul most of the code for it. Both Chrome and Opera use the same backend rendering engine which is Webkit, which is open source, same goes for Safari, unfortunately Apple is taking there time with Safari code changes. Second, enable the firewall on your Mac. Third, if you run Bootcamp or are sending files to and from Windows to your Mac machine consider installing an anti-virus (ie. Sophos or Webroot should be fine). Third, if you use a Mac especially a Macbook ENABLED THE PASSWORD ON YOUR MACHINE!!! Not having a password on your machine is extremely insecure. It's like not having a pin number for your debit card, its just plain ***. When creating your password consider using a password manager, I currently use 1Password there is also Msecure which is also a great one too. Install those and use them, incorporate them into your daily routine when using your Mac. Consider also using a password policy (which can also be use on you Windows users) my password policy is set for every 40 days, meaning that every 40 days I generate a new 16 character password, and save it into my password manager. I've known people that are paranoid and use pen and paper, which to me is insecure depending on how you handle that medium, the person that I knew that did that, used a blackbook and then put that book into a safety deposit box in his home. (just something to consider). Again, encryption goes hand in hand with being secure online (Mac user scroll up to read the previous explanation). Backups, the Mac operating system has a great feature called Time Machine learn to use it, it will save you aggravation if your system crashes (haha). Your iCloud password, again use that password manager so that you d not forget it. As for removing malware from your Mac, simply download and install Malwarebytes for Mac and scan the machine if it finds something it will remove it. Again if you stop using Safari you should not fall into this category. Mackeeper is TRASH!! Do not install Mackeeper it is fake, unreliable, software that does more harm than good. Consider spending some money on two pieces of software Little Snitch and Cocktail. Little Snitch is an application based/rule set firewall program, it does have a learning curve but again use the free resource like Youtube.com to learn to use it, you will be able to control what programs have access to the intranet/internet. Cocktail is a great piece of software that does all the maintenance for you, you set it up and let the scheduler do the maintenance on your machine. And last but not least, if you have a desktop Mac SHUT THE MACHINE DOWN COMPLETELY!!. If you have a Macbook you can use the sleep function but again I would shut it down, shutting the machine down clears out the cached data out and allows the operating system to start with a clean slate (if you install cocktail make sure to let that run first then shutdown). Well, there is a lot more I could go into in regards to your Mac, but this should be enough for the common user. Enjoy. :)

Scammed by Client Care Experts

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was called by this company to make my PC-computer run faster . I fell for this horrendous scam! They cl;aim that they can make your computer run faster, and that they have a security system that surpasses most, even Norton Security Suite, which i have had through Comcast for years, and was satisfied. They present and install a security program called Webroot, which does exist, as a separate entity/company. But what they have done is duped this program to make it seem like it is owned by themselves. I contacted Webroot directly, and explained to them what happened...Their first, immediate response was, "you've been scammed, and how much did you pay?" I paid $449.00 for computer work and the webroot program." Hey guy, they said to me, we charge only $59.99 for the comprehensive business security suite, so you have been over-charged over $200!" i was livid, at that point. The company, Client Care Experts cannot be contacted,...mmmm...convenient, uh? I went to their website , and it is automatically being directed to the State's Attorney of Florida, which is the state the company was working out of. How interesting, uh? So what did I have the option of doing...Of course, to dispute the charge with my credit card company. i did just that, and since my Chase Visa credit card company cannot even contact the ex-now defunct company, via phone or email, they are saying I am responsible for the charge of $449.00! I just received this dispute result today, and am livid and besides myself. I shall continue to dispute this charged amount with Chase Visa, and do asll the research myself, which I think their dispute department NEVER did! now, like the previous review I read...Not only did this scammer company overcharge me for a security suite called Webroot, that has expired after four months, they also totally screwed up my computer, and I can't perform specific operations and go to certain search engines and reference lists with my PC! So, therefore, this experience has been one BIG TOTAL SCAM. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THEM. BUT, FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND, THEY ARE NOW GOING BY ANOTHER NAME. BEWARE CONSUMER! BEWARE!

One they were an Inbound company on pop ups so you had to call them because you were prob looking at *** and thought you had a *** virus. Two they've been shut down since the beginning of July so if you've got a call it's prob another company who bought the leads and totally scammed you and you were too *** to fall for it.

My 3 yr subscription

April 2016 I installed Windows 10 on my computer and then everything started having a problem. I contacted Microsoft for the problems I was having, the phone number on my computer PUT ME IN TOUCH WITH CLIENT CARE EXPERTS! After several lengthy conversations with them, I agreed to let them fix the problems on my computer, which they did. CONVINCED ME TO PURCHASE A 3 YR SUBSCRIPTION FOR WEBROOT ANTIVIRUS. I have been getting numerous phone calls from all over the US from different companies wanting to enter my computer because they say my Anti virus is not working correctly. I have Not allowed them to do that. Just today, Nov 17, 2016 I tried to contact Client Care Experts, to report all these other companies, to the number that I was given for 24/7 support, and find out that they are closed and in Receivership!!! DO NOT GET SCAMMED. THEY DID FIX MY COMPUTER BUT NOW I AM LEFT HOLDING THE BAG! I paid for a subscription that says now that it is EXPIRED!

This was a scam, a bunch of junkies fresh out of rehab. Webroot does not even offer 3 years....They did not fix my computer, got me for over 1000 bucks!

Calling daily, should have known I was dealing with idiots. They were probably the ones messing up my computer.

Hope they get time, rehab to jail is what they all deserve.

Client Care Experts - Customer Care Review

In April, I was directed by a pop up in my toolbar to call Client Care Experts. They were great in fixing my issue. They also sold me a 3 year subscription to Webroot Security. I just learned that it has expired after only 8 months. What is going on ? I have tried several times in the last few months to call them. They dont answer, or return my calls. At this point I do not trust them as a legitimate company.I

It's over

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
You can call these guys all you want but they're pretty much done. The Florida Attorney General raided them and the company's motion to stay open until the trial date was denied by the judge. The reality is that the services Client Care Experts provide ARE legit. The problem is that they use scare tactics to get you to purchase them and you don't really need them anyway in most cases. It's a modern spin on the auto mechanic telling you need $600 of unnecessary repairs. Well, a mechanic who pops up in your back seat while driving. In case you were wondering, ALL of the "Microsoft system alert" popups in your browser are bogus. Yes, there is malware on your computer -- it's the program that is making those messages pop up. CCE and their ilk don't put personally put these on your computer, they just buy your calls from the companies that actually do the dirty work. It's called "marketing leads." The weird thing is that all these tech support scams in South Florida are run and staffed by ex-junkies fresh from rehab. Somehow they manage to reconcile spiritual recovery with ripping off old people. The delusion is strong with them. Don't think Best Buy is much better. They send you out the door with the bargain basement McAfee "anti-virus" garbage knowing you'll be back in six months with a lot of problems. The whole purpose of Geek Squad is to upsell you new computers. They're not making money by fixing your old one. The friendly old-timer with his own shop? Again, it's in his best interest to keep you coming back. He downloads for you the free security software he knows won't offer protection and then woos you with this "I build my own computers" garbage. More BS, he puts them together in 30 minutes using pre-assembled components. Building a model airplane is harder. And here's the worst part. There really are tens of millions of truly malicious malware threats out there. They're getting worse every year. Believe it or not there are programs now that will hijack your computer and demand you pay a ransom to get your information back. You NEED to take these threats seriously. So what can you do? How about just dumping your PC -- they're going the way of the VCR. If all you do is look at websites and read emails then a tablet should be fine. Really need a desktop or laptop? Move to Apple. Far less headaches. But if you really insist on sticking with a Windoze computer here's Johnny's recommendations. Share it with your senior friends. 1) Do NOT use Norton, McAfee, and AVG. No one considers these to be top-notch protection and they do shady things like hijacking your search results to redirect you to links they get referral fees on. 2) Do NOT rely on Windows Defender. Joke. 3) Do NOT trust any "tech support" company whose number suddenly pops up on your screen. 4) Do NOT trust anyone who calls you out of the blue that says they're from Microsoft. Classic scam. If they are not employed directly by Microsoft then they are not Microsoft. Don't fall for "partner" or "affiliate" garbage. 5) Do NOT click on every single link and email you see. Use common sense. Assume the worst and be extra cautious. 6) Do NOT buy any cleaner/boost/optimizer/driver programs. "Registry cleaners" and "driver updaters" are junk junk junk junk and will cause more damage while repairing nothing. 7. Do NOT rely on free security software. Avira is a pretty good free one, but pretty good is no longer good enough given today's internet climate. I'm going to be a Jerky Johnny for a second. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY FOR QUALITY SECURITY SOFTWARE THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING A WINDOWS COMPUTER! My personal recommendation would be ESET for real-time protection in conjunction with an on-demand manual removal tool like Hitman Pro, SUPERAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (or all three!). If you are going to upgrade your real-time protection then make sure ALL traces of the old one are gone. 8) DO watch your Startup Programs and make sure you don't have too many applications starting up with the computer. Only the essentials. 9) DO run Disk Cleanup to remove temporary files. Or better yet, enable Automatic Maintenance. 10) DO download Windows Updates. "The light you see at the end of the tunnel is the front of an oncoming train." --David Lee Roth

Anyone that's in "recovery" should have a bad name. They're flawed individuals who have no moral or ethical code and cannot contain themselves or their base natures.

It makes complete sense that these deviants all work for these companies.

Why would a drug addict ever care about the damage or fraud they cause? They don't even care about themselves.

Client Care Experts - Scam
Claimed to be from Microsoft and my computer was locked by Microsoft. Not true since we restarted the computer and it worked fine. I have sent the case to Microsoft and the Attorney's General office. Be aware they have nothing to do with Microsoft at all. Also since they fraudulently obtained my credit card number this becomes a federal matter. I hope to contact Homeland Security since this may be considered a terrorist group trying to obtain banking information.

uh you want them to stop charging your card? cancel the card.

tell them due to your own inability to understand an obvious scam popup you got scammed into giving our your CC info.

and it wouldn't outright be a federal matter unless if shady ways of doing business like this become so. they didnt fraudently obtain it.

YOU gave it to them and then refused to get with your CC company and get them to put a stop to the charges. sorry my friend but this is on YOU.

How do I get my money back, it been almost a year since they charged me 800 bucks?

Guest

These folks have been calling me 2-3 times daily for last few days.

Always from Selden NY 516-635-****.

Guest

Were there any fraudulent charges? A TERRORIST group?

Really?

You're an *** and u called them and accepted their service and paid them and now your calling homeland security... Unbelievable

Guest

How do I get them to stop charging my credit card?

Andrea Ahw

Did you call the number and give them your credit card number? That is the only way they can get it. Don't fall for scams.

Guest

LMAO Homeland won't do anything and I'm sure you have contacted. They don't claim to be Microsoft .

They say they are gold pinpoint partners which is true .They even introduce themselves as Client Care at the beginning. Your claim Won't become A federal Matter and you're delusional if you think it is. Scam how so? They give you options to take your computer to a Local shop.

They did not fraudulently obtained Your credit card. they gave you options and you picked them. Nothing fraudulently obtained there ..

You need to know what fraudulently obtained means and what Terrorist means. Homeland Security will Laugh in your face and call you a *** if you truly did contact them such as I am right now.

Words from an Employee

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I would like to start by saying that I do currently work for Client Care Experts (formerly First Choice Tech Support), that I am a simple guy on the team, not some high ranking team member or management whatsoever. I would like to post a few corrections to some of the common misconceptions posted on this page. 1) That we *** - and/or put viruses on - computers. This is FALSE. There are very few ways in which our phone numbers pop up on your screen. OUR only number is 855 527 ****. As for ANY other number that leads to us, the call has been SOLD to us (and you were actually targeted by some other company who's specialty is finding easy marks that will call that number and allow a sales person to attempt to sell you our service, which you may or may not really need). In most cases, in my experience at least, you receive "our" message because you have misspelled a website name (example, you were looking to connect to www.BankOfAmerica.com and accidentally typed www.BnkOfAmerica.com - just one example, and not a good one). One person said they had meant to type www.Espn.Go.com, and instead typed www.EspnGo.com (if I remember correctly). That message, in this case, is not on your COMPUTER - but is rather on your BROWSER. And if you get an up to date browser (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, UPDATED - or even, God forbid, Microsoft Edge, the replacement for the piece of *** Internet Explorer that has allowed more of your problems onto your computer than any other single mistake) that allows you to tick the box saying "Stop this page from creating additional dialogues" (or something to that effect), then you wouldn't have these issues where the browser locks that message on your screen. Otherwise, learn to use Windows Task Manager (Windows) or Force Quit (Apple/Mac - ugh) and end your browser's process. Otherwise, if it IS in fact a program on your computer giving you "our" number (aka Adware, which you all seem to incorrectly refer to as a virus or a ***, - nice antivirus you got there, not picking up on that, too!), then understand that 1a) THAT'S NOT FROM OUR COMPANY, and 1b) YOU must have downloaded something that came packed with that Adware, or you must have downloaded that program. ONLY download programs that meet these criteria: 1c) Come from sources you trust. 1d) That you can actually use (NO, DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY DRIVER UPDATE PROGRAMS OR PROGRAMS THAT CLAIM TO CLEAN YOUR REGISTRY OR SPEED UP YOUR PC! JUST STOP! YOU GUYS DESERVE THIS ***!) 1e) Will be scanned by your antivirus, which you should totally have up to date. Also: it should have "Real-time" protection. ... Notes on c): e1) Microsoft Users: I know Best Buy (or your Internet Service Provider) claims that McAfee is a good antivirus. It's about as good as Norton - that is to say that they are a BIG NAME. And that's it. That's like saying your Knife is better than mine because it's a Bowie. What if I made mine of out Damascus steel? ... McAfee and Norton are, quite literally, two of the worst antivirus programs that have ever been. They weren't even good in their prime. Get a FREE antivirus that's worth half a *** before PAYING for either of those. Such as Malwarebytes Antimalware or SuperAntiSpyware. Proof? 1) Do some research! I'm teaching you enough here. 2) If they were any good, they wouldn't have to rely on contracts with your ISP or Best Buy to get sales and installs. e2) Apple Users: To those saying "My Apple Technician or sales guy said that Apples/Macs don't catch viruses" - FALSE. Listen, back in the 90's, Macs were ONLY good for Video/Audio editing. They had the only good programs available for the longest time for those purposes. That being said, only TEN percent (10%) of all computers (if that) were Macs... Why make a virus that can only, AT BEST (in a PERFECT scenario) affect 10% of computers? ... Exactly, you wouldn't. So people only made Viruses for Windows systems. If they needed to attack a Mac or Linux or Unix target, they would just *** them manually. Because that would be on a rare case-by-case basis. NOWADAYS, however, easily 35+% of people are on Macs/Apples. So people make viruses for them, as well. Guess what else - some of these viruses are made by some smart people. The EXACT same virus your neighbor's Windows computer caught can infect your Mac, if programmed properly. NOW YOU KNOW! :) You're welcome. 2) Even though you can say you were lured to call based on a "scam" - do NOT incorrectly accuse us of not properly servicing the system in question. We truly do have both Technically Certified AND Microsoft Certified Technicians on hand 24/7/365 (including Christmas and New Years and every other day of the year) that DO take their jobs seriously. They aren't the ones scamming you, and THEY handle each and every computer with the proper care and attention deserved. They make sure not to take you for granted. Cleaning computers is EASY, even if they are fully infected (and let's face it, most of you *** AT LEAST have some minor Malware or Adware on your systems.. NEVER caused by us and not even caused by the people who supply us your calls). By the time we log off of your system, after about 4-6 hours (on average), you can bet your sorry little incompetent *** that it's CLEAN as a whistle once we're done - and after our MANUAL tune up (all done by hand and eye, and in a matter of minutes), I'm willing to bet my livelihood that it's FASTER than the day you bought it, with all your *** Best Buy bloatware / crapware either disabled or uninstalled. Understand that you people know ZERO about computers. And that, to call us a scam, or say that we "claim" to be Microsoft Partners or related to them - no, we don't. Word for word, what we tell you, is that "we are part of the Microsoft Pinpoint Partner Network" - or Microsoft Partner Network, or Microsoft Pinpoint Network. Go to www.Pinpoint.Microsoft.com or www.Partner.Microsoft.com (or go to www.Microsoft.com and search for keyword "Pinpoint" or "Partner," and click the first result in either case), and you'll find our page by searching our name ("Client Care Experts") - second choice in the list (by name / relevance, in that order) --- exact link is here: https://pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-us/companies/429931****?id=searchResult We are technically in the "Microsoft Pinpoint Partner Network" - listed as a "Gold" status Partner. That is NOT to say that we are Partnered WITH Microsoft, or OF Microsoft. As that would be a lie, and would land us with a lawsuit and court fees. We do NOT claim that. (We have our own lawyer on retention who spends many-a-day in our office. She goes over any change in our script (for those of our company who actually follow the script). And EACH and EVERY call is monitored and listened to in the hopes of catching someone saying something wrong (Like, when you ask "are you Microsoft?," they're HOPING to catch one of us saying "Yes.") - WE ARE NOT MICROSOFT, AND DO NOT CLAIM TO BE. Listen very carefully to our choice of words. Is what our company does wrong? Yes, yes it is. Are we at fault for your mistakes of calling / paying us? No, we are not. Were you scammed into calling us? Yes, in a way, you were. Are WE a scam company? No. You'll get some of the best customer service and quality of work done that you'll ever see. We are more honest and fair than Geek Squad has ever been. And we take our jobs seriously. I assure you of that. Any other questions, sound off in the comments. I'll check back every so often to answer questions, comments, or concerns. To any who actually read this all the way through, thank you. And I hope I've taught you something. To everyone else: Get bent.

Company was shut down. CCE was supposed to open back up but the courts ruled that it be closed forever. Sorry

You openly admit what your company does is wrong! I hope the authorities get all of you people/crooks that bottom feed on gullible.

Pure ***, these companies purchase campaigns that are created by scammers, the scammers add a number that is associated to company that has paid for the allocated campaign, the way that you see those adds is through adware, malware and toolbars along with certain XSS exploits that can be manipulated through vulnerable browsers. Exploit kits are available for purchase on the Darkweb that these scammers use to serve you malicious ads.

A company can easily open an LLC and create a legitimate ad serving company, hire some programmer to make some fake antivirus software and attach adware, toolbars, or malware to it. They then use Google AdSense and AdWords to setup ad campaigns to serve ads to multiple domains that give you the ability to down load said antivirus software or some fake game or whatever fake registry cleaner, same goes for pogo.com, this is how you get infected. Once you're infected you then start seeing those ads and start having problems on your machine. Sure, this company probably doesn't directly themselves cheat you out of your money, but they buy the campaigns from the crooks that are creating them the avenue to do so.

So in the end they are not at fault. Hence the reason that most of them are all located in South Florida or Florida, Florida isn't called the dumpster state for nothing. :)~

Oh and as for those Exploit Kits they sell for 5-20k on the Darkweb which is peanuts when these crooks are making millions upon millions off of innocent people.

If you really care about your online security FOR ANYONE THAT IS READING THIS, STOP USING WINDOWS ALL TOGETHER AND LEARN A REAL OPERATING SYSTEM LIKE LINUX OR FREEBSD!!! :)~

Yes I read your post to the end and yes I'm not a computer savvy fellow. I admire your fire and pride for doing your job well.

Thank you for your honesty because if your post is not honest, you will have to live with you.

We all have ourselves to haunt us.

The problem is now they have all my information on my computer because I was too *** to realize it was a scam. I had to cancel two credit cards and was refunded all my money because the fraud claim I put on my card was found to be justified.

If you work there, what does your company do with all the information they are collecting from gaining access to my computer? If you are even slightly legit, why I am having to safeguard my identity?

This was my worst mistake ever. Pretty sure there is a special place in *** for Andrew.

If what this guy says is true ( and that is a big if) Client Care Experts is going to need that lawyer they claim to have on retainer. What this guy claims they are doing is a deceptive trade practice under most state deceptive trade practices laws.

They did take the charges off of my account after I threatened them with the Florida Attorney General and the Boyton Beach PD, but if they are an otherwise legitimate company operating like this, they are headed for a fall.

OP here.. They do not put that stuff on your computer.

They do buy the calls from campaigns, however.

Also: they don't care about bbpd or attourney gen. They do not need that lawyer. And you do not need to cancel credit cards.

Just ask for a refund.... Otherwise, dispute charge with cc company. It *** them over in the long run.

They lose merchants that way.

I work for their competition company now. Much better, same m.o.

Paid 400.00 for web security for 3 years which i never received

apparently I had a virus on my computer and their name came up on the screen to volunteer to fix my issue and claimed they were endorsed by Microsoft. I had them fix the virus which I believe was planted there by them in the first place and then they said they could give me 3 years of virus protection thru a firm called Webroot which all turned out to be a bold lie and I just paid Webroot to reinstall virus protection for 2 years in which they had to uninstall the so called Webroot protection that Client Care Experts had previously installed but was not active. I gentleman by the name of Luke Morgan was Client Cares representative who handled my case and seemed very trustworthy but now I found out I had been scammed. I paid them $400.00 to fix my virus and give me 3 years of virus protection which I did not receive and am seeking full restitution

BEWARE SCAM

In January I got Webroot installed through Client Care Experts. I paid for a three year subscription. Recently I had an issue that I needed to contact Webroot about. I called Webroot directly as the Client Care Experts phone number was always busy. I was informed by Webroot that Client Care Experts had been out of business for quite sometime. Months my computer went with no antivirus protection and I had no idea. Webroot advised that I contact the credit card company I had used for the purchase and dispute the charges which I did this morning. It will be about a month before I will find out of the money can be reimbursed. This could have been a very serious issue as I work and go to school online. I consider myself lucky that I did not get a Virus or have malware installed on my computer over these months...Do not fall for their scam

Reported my payment for a 3 year unlimited service account, purchased last December to my bank. Gave all particulars, date of transaction and authorization code.

I thought that it might be too late. Fortunately, I will be reimbursed!

I thank all of you for your advise. I had no idea what happened with this company until tonight, when I tried to call.

They've engendered a load of bad karma!!!

Happy Holidays to you all.

Client Care Experts - SCAMMING the less computer-literate out of maoney and who knows what!
I have been working in the IT field servicing & maintaining computer-based systems of all kinds for over 30 years, and this company is UNSCRUPULOUS, at best. I received a call from a client today that had unfortunately gotten a scary screen stating call this number... Upon calling, they then allowed the "Client Care Expert", posing as "Microsoft" or "Microsoft-affiliated" technicians, to "fix the problems" on my client's home PC... then charged him $250! I had client cancel the payment to CCE, and now they are paying me to REALLY restore the PC to its original status... safe & sound! Moral of this story... LEAVE PEOPLE & their PCs ALONE, Client Care Experts!! #SCAMMERS

The case is ongoing and currently their is no restitution to customers who where defrauded. Please file your complaint with the attorney general.

The more complaints the better chance we have to obtain restitution. I was taken for 1200 - I could have brought a new computer, I asked for my money back several times with the 30 day warranty and my disability problems got in the way, to late to file with my Bank so if you are reading this , you name can be added to those wishing to file a complaint against the business. May 26, 16 I had signed up with Client Care Experts for $349.99. July 8th I found that I had lost internet connection.

I called them many times and only got a recording that they were closed for the 4th of July.
