SCAM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Client Care Experts defrauded me out of $250.00 by unlawfully marketing their services as a competent, reliable computer repair firm with extensive experience and practice. They offered a 10-Point Protection system, monitored 24/7 by experts. They marketed themselves as First Choice Tech Support but later changed their name to Client Care Experts. This alone makes their performance suspicious. I paid them $250.00 with VISA charge, for which I have full documentation, to obtain Full Time Protection, and they failed to perform under that contract. The person soliciting me had the first name of Joseph. I place a claim on the firm's remaining resources for $250.00 in full restitution of their corporate failure. I paid substantial money to get problem(s) corrected and now months later no one answers the phone or returns emails. Is this company out of business? Over $400 has been paid on my ***- tract. It would be a courtesy to let customers know if they are no longer offering services, let alone offering a refund on monies paid. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate hearing either way. I have lost all credibility in finding an aunthentic, reliable and reputable computer expert here in Florida. I have since been contacted by many bogus tech reps (foreigners) telling me they can correct any fraudulent activity. Can Better Business Bureau intervene?

Same with me; i am not sure how much I have paid; automatic deduction on my credit card; have not been charged since June, so I guess they went out of business.

Because maybe they have been shut down for two months which is why they are not responding or calling you back? Common Sense people....

Scam Company---BEWARE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This company has no partnership agreements with Microsoft. Anybody can become a member of the pinpoint network and Microsoft doesn't even acknowledge that network if you contact them. These companies have been a plague in S. FL for years and there are several that have been shut down by the FTC and investigated by the Federal Government. https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0346-tech-support-scams These companies attempt to operate by telling you that you have issues with your machine that do not exist. Simply turn the computer off and the warning will disappear. If you have already spent money with this company then you can get a refund from your Bank by filing a dispute. It takes 3-5 days but the money will be returned to your account.

Actually, it was a member from Microwsoft that referred me right away to Client Care Expert when my computer displayed to contact 'Micrrowsoft' on March 2016.

Yes, after the install, my computer only worked for a couple of weeks and started to slow down.

Now for the last 3 weeks, their message on the phone says they are closed till July 4th!!!! It's the 21st of July now and they are still enjoying a nice vacation somewhere on a nice beach!

Guest

The issues they tell you that you have DO exist though. Are you a computer technician?

You obviously believed something was wrong when you called and paid $550.

How about the protection software? Idiots

Guest

The Florida AG has been quite diligent in shutting down these firms. If you have been scammed then file a complaint online with the AG.

The argument that these types of companies are doing nothing wrong and are simply providing a service doesn't hold any water and has been shot down in the past by the AG.

Client Care "Experts" cost me $650!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
THE VERY SAME happened to me: $650 hard -earned dollars! Like you, my screen was frozen, I had no choice but to call the number that I THOUGHT was related to Microsoft. It sounds like you would recommend uninstalling all things related to Client Care "experts." I just had all of this installed a little less than a month ago- plenty of time to infect my computer! I was previously with I-yogi, who loved to try & sell me things & I thought that behind my back, they were secretly installing all kinds of nasty viruses & worms. TELL ME! Who is good at caring for your computer? I am at a loss!

Well.. Would you look at that...

Look at it!! Just look at it!!

Look at it..

It must be cold in Oshkosh, must have been looking for illegal movies

To be honest no one cost you aNY money besides yourself. No one forced you at gun point to buy their services.

You just simply picked them instead of going to your local shop. Let me ask you this. ? If you bought something at best buy for 100 but then saw walmart was offering the same product for 30 did Bestbuy cost you 70 amd scam you?

Nope. Look at iPhone and Android same thing but you just spend more on iPhone because of the name Apple.

So is Apple a scam because they overcharge for their laptops and iphones? Nope.

Fraudulent Client Care

I'm the same as everyone's complaints. Client Care is a fraudulent company, I paid $250.00 for their services for a year, they do not answer the phone. I have left several messages, but no one returns my calls. Everyone better cancel their charge card and have a new number card issued. I found several fraudulent charges to my card for the month of July, so I had the card cancelled and reported it to my bank. Also everyone should report this company to your State Attorney General's office. This is very important to do so hopefully something will be done legally to this fraudulent company. Also on a smaller measure you should report this company to the Better Business B.

Maybe because they got shut down like 2 months ago? Reporting to the BBB or the state attorney won't do anything and also the BBB which is a scam themselves won't do anything. The company closed down because they were a fraud company so that explains why they did not answer your calls.

You helped before. but now. where are you????

Trying to get in touch, something happened the last 3 days and I have no icons and can not shut the computer off. Your answering machine says that the office is closed until after July 4th but it is now September 20th. I am beginning to wonder what I can do to fix the problem. Some foreign scammers call me at least once a week and after what happened to me before, I have no other choice but to get rid of this computer and be with out all over again. Tired of all these scams and such-enough is enough

Have you read the other reviews here? Have you gone to their website and seen that the company was shutdown by the Attorney General's office three months ago?

No? That might explain why you fell for this scam in the first place.

EVERY tech support company in South Florida is a scam. And all the the ones from India too.

Best Buy is legit but just want to upsell you a new computer.

Honestly, PCs and laptops are not that complex -- most problems should be able to be solved quickly and for next to nothing. I'd be suspicious of anyone charging extravagant fees for what is the computer equivalent of pumping gas and cleaning the windshield. If all you are doing is looking at websites and checking emails why not just get a tablet?

If you can't do what you want to do on that then you probably shouldn't be doing it at all. Just being honest.

NO call backs for service needed!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was fortunate to ONLY pay $350 for what really DID seem like a worthy cost....UNTIL I could not access many generic sites that I had never had a problem with. NOW, I never know if any site is going to come up or blocked for no reason. I do get a message citing possible bad hook-up or a firewall blocking; SOoooo, I called them on their 24/7 phone# 855-527--**** in FL.....NOW, 4 TIMES and, as yet, have heard nothing but a message to leave a message. On the last call, I told them this is what I would do! They, originally, were very "professional and reassuring", but, at this time, I MUST, also say, apparently very "good scam artists"!

NO service follow up

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Jul 22, 2016

It appears that the Office of the Attorney General of Florida has taken legal action to suspend the operations of Client Care Experts near the end of June, 2016. Good reason for not following up.

Original review Jul 22, 2016
Really good when they seized my computer - said it was Micro soft that locked it up and told me to call a Micro soft expert. They said they were one of many service providers. Long story short, they said they found and fixed many potential concerns. Gave me six months free service - 24/7 . I have called several times leaving my information and they haven't called back to my knowledge. No service after they get the initial dollars by the looks of it. If your computer gets locked up other people on the web say just shut it off and re boot.

Call?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I just paid them $300 and after reading some of these reviews I have decided to not call them and take the loss. I think I'm going to restore my computer to their original factory settings just to try and get rid of whatever they did to my computer. I do not like the idea of anyone accessing my personal information and accounts so I am going back to change all my passwords as well. I'm not going to take any chances. This is the 2nd time in a year I've let this happen to me by scammers. Get me once shame on you, get me twice, shame on me. I'm madder at myself for being so ignorant but at least I'm not the only one out there who this has happened to. I guess they even get some doctors and lawyers occasionally. The lawyer part doesn't bother me much, lol! How does anyone catch these guys anyway? They need to be punished. Somehow. They're terrorists in their own way. The police go after terrorists right? There has to be some hacker genius that the cops can initiate somehow to help start putting some of these crooks away. It seems like all the really good hackers want to do is cause chaos. Only for the reason that they do it because they can. They never get caught and know they won't. Get a lot of people like that and give them meaning to put their talent to good use instead of wasting it on things that get them nothing really. Even if they are making money somehow, they are still hurting people by taking theirs. One or two must have some kind of conscience I would think. Someone.

Great Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had a worm trying to *** my PC. I had gotten a message that popped up saying it was Microsoft. Usually, I just X the message. This one wouldn't let me go ahead. It shut my computer down. I called the supposed Microsoft number but it was a scam to charge me $150.00 to "fix" my computer. I had used Client Care before and called them. The rep helped get the problem resolved quickly and efficiently before we even talked about price. I have Mcafee and had NOT received a warning about this worm. Anyway, I worked with Ms. Jackie and Mr. Don at Client Care and my computer is up and running quickly. They were very professional and courteous. Thank you.

Told her she misrepresented herself and to take the virus off that they had put.on to extort money from me. Told her they better unblock my computer as i work for the government and tomorrow it will be examined thoroughly by forensic computer investigators and im going to report their unlawful tactics. Jaime hung up on me and i shut down my.pc. tomorrow my friend who is a computer wiz will clean it and examine it. You were watching ***... Pornhub, Redtube, and xhamster are the only sites that would get you a blue screen message.

Machele Imf

You are obviously a rather unsophisticated user of computers. You fell for a scam because you have not taken steps to protect yourself from popups and the like.

You need to start using Firefox browser instead of Internet Explorer with addons like UBlock Origin, Disconnect me, Adblock, etc. so these popups and the like never appear on your screen. Your big mistake also was in falling for the scam by actually calling them and allowing someone to take remote control of your machine.

Yes, best clean your machine before you go online again. Good luck

The reason why people report it is a scam, is in how you were brought over to their service. Malicious ads are infected by using Exploit kits and are sold as campaigns with their forwarding 800 number.

As for the actual service, you could probably resolved 90 percent of Windows issues with a simple search on Microsofts Technet or a simple Google search, or even Youtube.com. They over charge you for something that you can easily accomplish on your own, even if you aren't that tech savy. That EST program they run on your machine to do the Tuneup is made by a programmer, half those technicians if you take that EST program away and tell them to do the work manually using only Microsoft certified, built in tools on Windows, would most likely not be able to do it.

As for you boasting their service and that everyone here is retarded and what not, the only retard here is YOU. You let yourself, along with the people you recommend them to get dupped into over paying for technical support.
